can not load midi files

I am using pianobooster under linux fedora11
I can not open a file since the OPEN window containing the file manager information rests empty only the background coulours are displayed but no file or directory information I can browse through.

Can you try compiling from svn as I think I fixed a number of issues to do with this. type the following the fetch the source code. It is quite easy instructions in build.txt

svn co https://pianobooster.svn.sourceforge.net/svnroot/pianobooster/trunk/PianoBooster

Let me know if that fixes your issues.
