Sound on Fedora12 64bit?

PianoBooster seems to be just what I am looking for but can't get any sound even using "Listen" mode (I don't have a midi keyboard yet) - I can play the file directly with Timidity OK but using:

    timidity -iA -Os -EFreverb=0 -B2,8 --realtime-priority=4 -N=5 --sequencer-ports=1 &

before running PB does not allow sound.  I have Midi Output Device setup as "Midi Through:0" .

Any ideas/suggestions?

After much trial and error I can answer my own question - using this:

    timidity -ir -iA  

before starting PB works!
