PB as an accompanist for advanced and professional musicians

Kristian
Hello all,

I can't believe I didn't know about this earlier. I realized PB can be used as an accompaniment of piano concerti, 2-pianos or 4-hands piano music. After preparing the midi file, tempos etc. I made a successful tests with all human playing material, playing on high quality virtual piano instrument. The result is impressive. I'll post a demo some day.

The problem is that the accompaniment and solo part often share same notes, so these overlapping notes cause problems like holding notes etc. So I don't know how to separate the signal from my playing and the signal from the accompaniment to different instruments (I shouldn't have this problem on 4-hands repertoire). Maybe this is a feature request.

I'm using Ubuntu Studio OS.
